Hi! I'm Ambika, a product designer with a background in research, designing across B2B and B2C products.

I've designed with Optimizely, BioDepot, Building H, and HFI, and spent time at Google and TikTok getting very good at understanding what people actually need before deciding what to build.

I like being on both sides of that equation: figuring out the right problem, then building what comes next.

Optimizely

2025

Optimizely helps teams test and optimize digital experiences. I redesigned the variant-editing flow for first-time A/B test builders, making setup clearer and easier to understand before launch.

BioDepot

2024

BioDepot builds automation tools for life sciences teams. I designed their first mobile experience for clinical researchers at Fred Hutch, helping them track protocols, samples, and lab tasks away from the bench.

Building H

2026

Building H explores how everyday life can be healthier by design. I explored AI-powered commute concepts across everyday apps, focusing on how small suggestions could make the ride home feel more useful, social, and restorative.

Research depth behind my design judgement

A closer look at the studies I run, the methods behind them, and how those findings shape the product decisions that follow, across both industry and academic research. Explore my publications on Google Scholar.

From the Notebook

A growing collection where I discuss method deep dives, the product questions I keep coming back to, interesting new technology and what I’m learning along the way. You can read more on my Substack!
